Join Global Foundries as a Principal Engineer in Field Applications to shape the future of semiconductor technology. Engage closely with clients to meet their RF and Photonics needs effectively.
This position focuses on understanding technical customer requirements and turning them into successful product developments. You will partner with account managers and technical experts to address customer challenges, creating tailored solutions that highlight Global Foundries' capabilities.
Your role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between technology and client satisfaction, ensuring successful adoption of our semiconductor solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage customers to determine their semiconductor product needs
• Advocate winning GF value propositions
• Collaborate with internal experts to create specific presentations
• Merge technical aspects with commercial proposals
• Resolve concerns and convert DWIN into product tapeout
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or higher in electrical engineering or related fields
• At least 5 years in semiconductor design and experience
• Familiarity with IC chip design tools and processes
• Up to 20% travel expected, primarily domestic
• Proficient in English language, written and spoken
