Position: Contract Civil Engineer
Become a vital part of an industry leader as a Civil Engineer in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, for a 4-month contract. Drive large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects through your engineering expertise.

As a Civil Engineer, you will oversee civil design for significant construction projects, managing scope development and collaborating with your team for successful execution. You are expected to provide mentorship to junior engineers while ensuring compliance with industry codes and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead civil design for major construction and infrastructure projects

• Develop project scopes, execution plans, and cost estimates

• Author technical specifications and construction work packages

• Collaborate on 3D modeling and construction drawings

• Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with standards

Requirements:

• 4 to 9 years of civil engineering experience in heavy industrial settings

• Experience in the mining or resource extraction environment

• Knowledge of Canadian building codes and civil design standards

• Familiarity with Civil 3D and related software tools

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility
