Reporting to the Director of Thin Film Engineering, you'll collaborate closely with the team to develop, optimize, and document processes.
Your role includes not just technical development, but also characterizing equipment to improve production efficiency and facilitating training for machine operators. Engage in a problem-solving culture to drive continuous quality and cost enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop processes for optical surface treatments and applications
• Characterize equipment and improve operational efficiencies
• Diagnose defects and drive corrective actions
• Create formal documentation and work instructions
• Train technicians in coating processes and machine upkeep
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Physics or Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in thin film technology
• Proven ability in troubleshooting and process optimization
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without work visa sponsorship
