Position: Civil Engineer for Wind and Hydropower
Join Brookfield's technical team as a Civil Engineer focusing on optimizing wind and hydropower facilities in Sault Ste. Marie or Wawa, Ontario. You will direct engineering activities, manage projects, and ensure compliance on-site.

This Civil Engineer role is critical to managing projects involving dams, hydroelectric developments, and wind facilities. You'll leverage your civil engineering and project management expertise to optimize project scopes, budgets, and timelines. Candidates must possess strong field experience and familiarity with power generation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion

• Ensure compliance with HSS&E guidelines during project execution

• Prepare and control budgets and timelines for all assigned projects

• Conduct assessments and make recommendations for facility improvements

• Evaluate new technologies for cost-effective project execution

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in Civil Engineering and project management

• Degree in engineering and P. Eng. eligibility in Ontario

• Experience with hydraulic structure design and project execution

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

• Valid driver’s license for travel across Ontario
