Sila’s Equipment Engineering team seeks a motivated Mechanical Engineer to drive design processes bridging R&D concepts to capital project execution. You will utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance manufacturability, reliability, and safety of innovative equipment. This senior role also involves mentoring junior engineers while maintaining rigorous design documentation and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design initiatives ensuring efficient engineering processes

• Develop detailed engineering packages for reactor systems

• Provide technical oversight using advanced modeling techniques

• Drive safety compliance through PSM and Mechanical Integrity initiatives

• Coordinate cross-functional project elements and manage life cycles

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• 10+ years of mechanical design experience in industrial settings

• Proficiency in Solid Works, AutoCAD, and P&t

• Strong expertise in thermal/fluid systems for reactors

• Familiarity with mechanical codes and safety regulations
