This role is critical to delivering sustainable infrastructure projects in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. You will utilize your CAD expertise and Civil 3D proficiency within multidisciplinary teams, participating in the entire design process and enhancing project coordination. Your ability to mentor junior designers while ensuring adherence to quality control will be key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret survey data for civil design drawings
• Develop advanced Civil 3D models for analysis
• Manage drafting on large multidisciplinary projects
• Collaborate with engineers for coordinated design packages
• Mentor junior designers to strengthen technical skills
Requirements:
• Diploma or CAD certificate with 8+ years of experience
• Minimum 8 years of Civil 3D expertise
• Proven ability to create complete drawing packages
• Strong analytical skills, especially in Excel
• Familiarity with design tools like Revit and Micro Station
