Orano Canada, a leader in uranium mining, is looking for a Senior Mine Engineer to enhance its operations. In this integral position, you will guide long-term mine planning while collaborating with various teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Your role includes conducting technical evaluations and mentoring future engineers in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic mine planning and optimization initiatives
• Facilitate technical assessments and feasibility studies
• Collaborate on long-term geological and operational planning
• Oversee Joint Venture mining activities for quality assurance
• Engage in construction management within mining projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mining or Geological Engineering
• 15+ years of planning and supervisory experience in mining
• Expertise in underground mining operations
• Knowledge of NI-43-101 standards and mining software
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills
