Hatch seeks a Senior Mining Engineer for major mining projects across North America and internationally. The position combines mining engineering, consulting, and client-facing capabilities. You will support open pit and underground operations, mining studies, mine planning, due diligence, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead preliminary economic, prefeasibility, and feasibility studies
- Develop life-of-mine plans and cost estimates
- Serve as Lead Mining Engineer on multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinate deliverables across technical project disciplines
- Present findings and support proposal development
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering
- Ten or more years of progressive mining experience
- Canadian Professional Engineer registration or eligibility
- Experience delivering mining studies and project execution
- Mine planning, optimization, and economic evaluation expertise
Bring technical leadership, consulting judgment, and multidisciplinary project management to Hatch mining studies and client assignments.
