Credit Risk Governance Senior Manager

Lead credit risk governance initiatives with First Nations Bank of Canada as a Senior Manager. Focus on policy implementation, risk monitoring, and compliance across diverse portfolios.

In this full-time role, you'll support credit risk governance efforts and manage second-line oversight. Your responsibilities include developing credit policies, monitoring portfolio risks, and recommending remedial actions for problem loans. Your expertise will help align FNBC's lending practices with regulatory standards and improve data quality across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance credit risk policies and frameworks

• Monitor compliance with underwriting standards and risk appetite

• Challenge credit classification and provisioning of problem loans

• Conduct stress testing and integrate climate risk overlays

• Provide second-line oversight in lending processes

Requirements:

• 8–10+ years in credit risk or portfolio oversight

• Strong knowledge of commercial lending and underwriting

• Proven expertise in credit policy development

• Experience with IFRS 9 staging and capital planning

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
