Position: Saskatoon Public Schools Accounting Leader
Elevate financial services at Saskatoon Public Schools as the Assistant Manager of Accounting. This full-time role focuses on financial reporting, budget development, and team collaboration to maintain accurate financial data.

As a key member of the Financial Services team, you will support the Manager of Accounting and contribute to improving financial policies and systems. Your expertise will ensure compliance with public sector accounting standards and support external audits. This role involves developing strong relationships across the organization while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of financial statements and audit files

• Respond to inquiries from external auditors and regulatory bodies

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements

• Maintain financial documentation, policies, and procedures

• Prepare forecasting models for annual budget development

Requirements:

• University degree in Commerce or Business Administration

• CPA designation or equivalent experience

• 4-6 years in financial and management analysis

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
