Financial Reporting Assistant Manager

Strengthen financial reporting and budget development as Assistant Manager of Accounting for Saskatoon Public Schools’ Financial Services team.

This on-site, full-time permanent position supports senior financial services leaders across the school division. You will gather, analyze, and report information from multiple sources while supporting accurate, reliable financial data. The position also contributes to policy development, process improvement, audits, and staff training.

• Gather and report financial information from multiple sources
• Assist with year-end audit files and financial statements
• Research and maintain Financial Services procedures
• Contribute to annual budget development and forecasting
• Build effective working relationships across the organization

• University degree in Commerce or Business Administration
• Accounting major and CPA designation preferred through stated qualifications
• Four to six years of responsible financial experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
