Shape sustainable housing policies as a Policy and Research Analyst dedicated to Indigenous communities. Drive research that amplifies urban Indigenous voices while fostering evidence-based decision-making.
As a crucial member of the team, you'll focus on analyzing policies that influence urban Indigenous housing. This role involves collaborating across departments to create actionable insights and recommendations for ongoing advocacy efforts. You will be instrumental in tracking policy trends and synthesizing complex information for leadership engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research on housing policy initiatives
• Develop strategic recommendations for board-level decisions
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation
• Synthesize research findings into practical insights
• Support community engagement and outreach efforts
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline
• 3-5 years' experience in policy or research roles
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities
• Experience with Indigenous community engagement
• Competent in Microsoft Office and data management tools
