This role involves leading critical initiatives in government relations, public policy, and community engagement efforts. You'll be responsible for providing strategic advice and bridging connections with Indigenous and community partners. Leading a team, you'll also ensure that organizational planning reflects community values and priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive advocacy and communication strategies
• Foster relationships with Indigenous and other government levels
• Analyze legislative developments for strategic insights
• Oversee community consultation and feedback processes
• Coordinate public communications and media relations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s preferred
• Minimum 10 years in senior leadership roles
• Familiarity with Indigenous governance
• Access to reliable transportation required
• Undergo a Criminal Record Check
