• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair;
• Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences;
• Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences;
• Analyze hair and scalp condition;
• Provide custom hair and scalp treatment;
• Advise clients on beauty care treatments;
• Apply hair extensions;
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair;
• Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages;
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches;
• Supervise apprentices/students in training;
• Book appointments;
• Shampoo customers' hair;
• Perform receptionist duties;
• Maintain and order supplies

Blow drying, Iron waving/curling, Permanents, Roller setting as well as Extensions and Hair braiding

Bleach, Dyes/tints, Frosting, Streaking/highlights

Work Setting:
Hairstyling salon; urban area
