Join our frontline team and make a critical impact as a medical provider supporting oil and gas operations in Alberta. In this vital role, you will provide immediate onsite medical care and coordinate timely transport to medical facilities for injured workers. Your quick thinking, expertise, and compassion will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and well‑being of our teams as they navigate challenging environments.

• Rotation schedule: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off or 21–24 days on, 7–14 days off.
• Locations:
  Assignments across various sites throughout Alberta.
• Competitive daily rate: $350–$425–$750 respectively.
• Hourly rate of 8 regular hours and 4 overtime hours.
• Unrestricted Class 5 Canadian Driver's License.

• Administer immediate first aid and emergency medical care to injured or ill workers on‑site within scope of practice.
• Assess patient condition, provide appropriate treatment, and coordinate timely transport to medical facilities as needed.
• Perform unit and equipment checks.
• Operate a heavy‑duty 4x4 truck with MTC over challenging terrain, remote gravel roads and all types of weather and road conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness of supplies, equipment, truck and MTC to ensure readiness for patient care.
• Maintain detailed records of all medical incidents and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with Advanced Safety Paramedics' Medical Control Guidelines, safety policies, and all applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with the operations team to support the overall safety and well‑being of the workforce.
• Set up STARS site.
• Sign in/out visitors to the site and maintain an accurate head count in the event of emergency.
• Conduct site orientations.
• Demonstrate customer service skills and use work apps for day‑to‑day operations.
• Participate in safety meetings and speak to large groups.
• Complete ERP's, hazard 's and perform some administrative duties using site‑specific software programs.
• Work away from home for extended periods of time.

• Current EMR, PCP or ACP registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics in good standing (for Alberta‑based jobs).
• Current EMR, PCP or ACP registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics in good standing (for Saskatchewan‑based jobs).
• For BC jobs:
  Must have a current UNRESTRICTED OFA 3 certificate.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as an EMR or OFA 3; oil & gas experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• 3‑year driver's abstract.
• Current H2S Alive and TDG certifications.
• Current WHMIS and CSO (Common Safety Orientation) certifications.
• Unrestricted Class 5 Canadian Driver's License.
• Ability to work effectively in high‑pressure, remote, and challenging environments.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and upholding safety standards.
• Willingness to work a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off or 21–24 days on, 7–14 days off.
