Step into a part-time role as a Speech Language Pathologist, focusing on assessment and therapy for school-aged children. This position promotes inclusion and collaboration within an educational context.
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in delivering services to students from kindergarten to grade 12 with diverse learning needs. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and the educational team, you will assess and provide necessary therapies. You will report to the Director of Learning Support Services and work closely with Learning Support Services coordinators on campus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess speech and language needs of students
• Provide therapy interventions for various age groups
• Collaborate with parents and educational staff
• Consult with professionals for comprehensive support
• Build partnerships in the community for student engagement
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in speech language pathology
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Registration required with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC
• Deep understanding of the Christian worldview
• Commitment to continuous professional improvement
