Support community wellness with Brunswick House First Nation as a Community Health Representative. Engage with community leaders and help enhance health program delivery.
This role focuses on promoting community health by coordinating with the Community Health Nurse, Mental Health Worker, and NNADAP Worker. You'll assist in prenatal and childcare clinics, maintain accurate client statistics, and prepare promotional workshop materials. Support transportation logistics for medical care and foster collaboration with various health care providers to improve health programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in offering health clinics and home visits
• Coordinate medical transportation for community members
• Prepare materials for health promotion workshops
• Maintain accurate statistics on client interactions
• Support ongoing updates of client health data
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent with health education experience
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Ability to write reports accurately
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
