Relief Pharmacist Position

As a Relief Pharmacist at Walmart in Saskatoon, provide exceptional pharmaceutical care and patient education. This role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and relationship-building within healthcare networks.

You will work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to facilitate the pharmacy’s operational success. Your duties include accepting and filling prescriptions promptly, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations, and counseling patients. Building strong working relationships with Professional Services Managers and healthcare providers is also key to supporting comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accept and process prescription requests from Doctors and Customers

• Ensure all medications are filled safely and accurately

• Counsel patients on proper medication use

• Maintain pharmaceutical storage and organization

• Follow OBWs/SOPs to comply with operational standards

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Pharmacist License

• Secondary permit in Alberta () preferred

• Age: 16 or older

• Capable of using pharmacy technology and equipment

• Willingness to travel to various pharmacy locations

Deliver essential pharmacy services and patient support while developing collaborative healthcare relationships.
