This role focuses on developing the psychological frameworks within the major trauma rehabilitation team stationed at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. You will facilitate patient recovery by providing tailored psychological support from acute care through rehabilitation, ensuring comprehensive and integrated care strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert neuropsychology services for trauma victims
• Collaborate with families to create intervention plans
• Guide psychological care during rehabilitation
• Educate and support multidisciplinary team on psychological issues
• Stay connected with the regional neuropsychology service and partake in research initiatives
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and active HCPC registration
• Familiarity with neuropsychological assessment methods
• Previous experience in neuropsychology and rehabilitation settings
• Organizational skills to manage changing responsibilities
• Passion for advancing clinical neuropsychology
