Enhance client care through recreational activities as a Recreation Worker at Bethany Pioneer Village in Middle Lake. This casual position involves engaging with residents to uplift their holistic quality of life.
The Recreation Worker will be part of the Birch Manor Activities department, focusing on the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of clients. This role requires effective communication and organizational skills, ideally fitted for individuals experienced in health care. Responsibilities include developing and implementing activities that cater to special needs clients, ensuring their quality of life is attended to holistically.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate recreational activities for clients and residents
• Enhance resident quality of life through engaging programs
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff
• Organize materials and resources for activities
Requirements:
• One year of health care experience
• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Valid driver’s license if required
