Sask Abilities is excited to offer a position for a certified Orthotist or an Orthotics Resident. Collaborate with an experienced team to evaluate patient needs, educate clients about treatments, and fabricate personalized orthotic devices. You'll be integral in assisting clients from pediatric to senior age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations and create personalized treatment plans
• Interact with clients to explain treatment options
• Collaborate with inter-professional healthcare teams
• Direct the design and fabrication of orthotics
• Keep precise records of patient-specific information
Requirements:
• Current certification with Orthotics Prosthetics Canada
• Relevant experience in patient orthotic management
• Strong critical thinking and reasoning abilities
• Excellent hand skills and mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to engage in physically demanding tasks
