Join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a Senior Unscheduled Care Nurse providing vital support in mental health. This full-time position entails complex assessments and interventions in an acute hospital setting.
We are seeking an experienced mental health nurse for our Adult Mental Health Liaison Team. You will conduct high-quality biopsychosocial assessments, ensure appropriate referrals, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings. This role requires expertise in managing patients with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, and evaluate mental health care
• Advise on observation levels for patients
• Handle referrals per established operational standards
• Manage your workload efficiently
• Collaborate with Scottish Ambulance Service on triage
Requirements:
• Level 1 NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse
• Degree level education or equivalent experience
• Specialist knowledge in mental health nursing
• Evidence of ongoing CPD
• Line management experience of senior staff
