Senior Health Educator

Elevate community health services as a Senior Health Educator in Saskatoon. This full-time role focuses on mental health and addiction education, training, and consultations.

The Health Educator Senior reports to the Manager and plays a crucial role in coordinating education and training services within the MHAS framework. Your responsibilities include program development, client consultations, and delivering presentations. Your work must align with Saskatchewan Health Authority's evidence-based practices to improve mental health and addiction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate education and training for MHAS initiatives

• Develop and implement training programs effectively

• Deliver public health presentations and brief counseling

• Provide clinical support and consultations on PCOMS

• Conduct material updates for trainers and mental health staff

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years' experience with PCOMS system

• Background in clinical support and training in mental health

• Ability to deliver effective presentations and training

• Strong consultation skills in addiction assessments

• Compliance with Saskatchewan Health Authority's objectives
