Position: Counsellor for Early Years Program
Join Pathstone's Early Years Counselling & Consultation Program as a Counsellor 1, focusing on children under six and their families. This role combines counselling and psychoeducation to enhance child development.

As a Counsellor 1, you will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to support children aged six and under. You will apply your knowledge in treatment planning, facilitate psycho educational clinics, and offer virtual counselling services. Additionally, your experience working with the Indigenous community will be valuable in connecting with diverse families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and address developmental skills for young children

• Develop and implement treatment plans collaboratively

• Facilitate psycho educational clinics for children and families

• Offer virtual counselling while ensuring privacy compliance

• Communicate effectively with clients and families

Requirements:

• SSW, CYW or equivalent qualifications

• 2-3 years experience with children under six

• Familiarity with virtual counselling platforms

• Bilingual in French and English preferred

• Valid driver’s license and current Police Records Check
