NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary for the Neurophysiology team. This permanent, full-time position requires a background in secretarial studies and proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
Your role will encompass vital administrative duties, patient communication, and supporting healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce clinical correspondence and administrative documents
• Manage Consultant diaries and optimize workflows
• Upload referrals and arrange patient appointments
• Coordinate clinic management and follow-up actions
• Liaise with multiple departments to ensure accurate patient records
Requirements:
• HNC/SVQIII in Secretarial Studies or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced keyboard skills
• Minimum one year’s audio typing experience
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
