Take on a rewarding role as a Mental Health Navigator at Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre in North Battleford. Provide essential support for mental health and addiction services using a client-centered approach.

In this full-time, permanent position, you will report to the Wellness Prevention Supervisor. Your expertise will help individuals identify needs and navigate available services to reduce barriers and enhance wellbeing. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of Saskatchewan Mental Health legislation and trauma-informed care principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients in accessing mental health resources

• Help navigate health and addiction systems

• Develop therapeutic relationships to achieve client goals

• Perform necessary documentation and data collection

• Understand and integrate traditional Indigenous healing approaches

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field

• 1-2 years experience with marginalized populations

• Knowledge of behaviour change models and motivational interviewing

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Successful criminal record check for vulnerable sector
