Join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist in the Neurorehabilitation Unit. This role focuses on complex neurological and trauma rehabilitation needs, ensuring expert patient care.
In this fixed-term position, you’ll lead and develop specialist occupational therapy services. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, managing a caseload that includes patients with brain injuries and major trauma.
Your role involves assessment, rehabilitation planning, and providing clinical leadership to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead specialist services in the Level 2 Neurorehabilitation Unit.
• Manage complex cases with neurological rehabilitation needs.
• Conduct expert assessments, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Support staff development and clinical leadership.
• Contribute to quality improvement and research activities.
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration.
• Significant post-graduate experience in neurorehabilitation.
• Proven ability in leading and developing services.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
