Patient Access Services at Community Memorial

Become a key part of patient care as a Patient Access Representative with a part-time schedule at Community Memorial Hospital. Deliver prompt registration services and support families in their healthcare journeys.

In this crucial role, you will engage directly with patients and families during pre-admitting and admitting processes. Your responsibility is to ensure a welcoming environment while assisting customers in navigating healthcare services. This part-time position consists of 32 hours per week, working 8:30 am shifts on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patient registration and pre-admission efficiently

• Offer warm assistance and guidance to patients and families

• Advocate for patients' needs and navigate healthcare services

• Escort and route patients to appropriate areas

• Preserve a positive and professional atmosphere

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

• 0-2 years experience in a health-related field or customer service

• Preferred: 1-year experience in Patient Access

• Knowledge of health plans/insurance is beneficial

• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus
