In this role, you will manage critical registration functions to ensure the submission of clean claims. Your tasks will include handling patient demographics, processing registration interviews, and validating insurance eligibility in accordance with EMTALA. A minimum of two years' business service experience is a prerequisite, alongside effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage registration processes for new and returning patients
• Accurately collect and input patient financial data
• Validate insurance and communicate coverage to patients
• Adhere to EMTALA regulations during patient interactions
• Update Centricity records for accuracy and compliance
Requirements:
• 2 years experience in a healthcare or business setting
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Preferred experience with patient financial discussions
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Familiarity with medical billing and terminology
