Senior Clinical Perfusionist

Elevate your perfusion career with a full-time position at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. As a Senior Clinical Perfusionist, you'll operate and maintain critical equipment in a dynamic clinical setting.

This full-time, permanent role involves setting up and managing heart-lung machines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and other perfusion devices. You'll be responsible for equipment maintenance, quality control checks, and training healthcare staff on equipment use. This position offers the opportunity to engage in research and quality improvement initiatives in the perfusion field. If you are an HSAS member, your application will receive preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain advanced perfusion equipment

• Conduct blood gas and clotting analysis

• Perform quality control and calibration of analyzers

• Train healthcare staff on perfusion technologies

• Engage in relevant research projects

Requirements:

• Advanced certificate in Cardiovascular Perfusion

• Membership in Canadian Society of Clinical Perfusion

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

• Registration with appropriate licensing body

• Experience with heart-lung machines is essential
