Join Rebalance Rehab as a community Kinesiologist focused on geriatric care in Abbotsford. Deliver personalized rehabilitation programs across long-term care facilities and in-home sessions, fostering meaningful client relationships.
This full-time, permanent position requires working between two long-term care facilities and home sessions, offering an engaging role in a supportive team environment. You will create rehabilitative exercise programs individually or alongside a Physiotherapist, enhancing the well-being of the geriatric population. Rebalance Rehab emphasizes community health, providing administrative support to ensure your focus remains on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop individualized rehabilitation programs for clients
• Collaborate with Physiotherapists for optimal care
• Engage with clients in two long-term care facilities
• Conduct in-home sessions for personalized support
• Build relationships within the community for ongoing care
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology required
• Certification with the BC Association of Kinesiologists
• Minimum 1 year of kinesiology experience preferred
• Valid BC driver’s license required
• Experience in physical rehab settings is advantageous
