We are seeking a dedicated Continuing Care Assistant to work in home care at the Idylwyld Centre. This permanent part-time position offers 21 shifts consisting of 8-hour days and weekends, allowing you to make a significant impact on the lives of patients. Your skills in organization, communication, and interpersonal interaction will be vital in meeting the holistic needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to clients and residents

• Assist with daily living activities and promote independence

• Support clients' emotional and psychological needs

• Communicate effectively with clients and their families

• Maintain organized documentation of care provided

Requirements:

• Continuing Care Assistant certificate (or equivalent)

• Valid driver’s license where required

• Food Safe certificate (if needed)

• Strong independent work capability

• Basic computer skills for documentation
