Enhance patient experiences as a Full-Time Optical Associate at FYidoctors in the University of Saskatchewan clinic. Deliver exceptional service and expert eyewear guidance to every patient.
This full-time role encompasses 30-40 hours per week within a collaborative clinic environment. As an Optical Associate, you'll interact directly with patients, educate them on various eyewear options, and ensure they receive the best value and fit. Your technical skills will support frame selection, optical prescription interpretation, and appointment coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic
• Educate on eyewear options tailored to patients' needs
• Interpret prescriptions from the optometrist
• Perform adjustments and measurements for eyewear
• Manage billing and payment processes
Requirements:
• Previous optical or retail experience preferred
• Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
• Proficiency in MS Office and technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative and adaptable team player
