Mental Health Support Worker

In this casual role, you will support clients with mental health and addiction issues at EHN Complex Needs Facility. Your responsibilities include assessing new intakes, delivering emotional support, and documenting client interactions in real time. By advocating for clients, you'll facilitate access to essential resources to aid their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assess new clients, focusing on their immediate needs

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during interactions

• Maintain detailed documentation following each client meeting

• Assist in facility housekeeping to ensure a safe environment

• Support clients in navigating resources for housing and recovery

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in Mental Health or related field

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices

• Experience with addiction and mental health populations

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Clear Criminal Records Check for vulnerable adults
