Located at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre, this full-time Radiation Therapist I position offers a unique opportunity to work under the supervision of experienced radiation therapists. You will be instrumental in planning, preparing, and delivering ionizing radiation treatments based on oncologist prescriptions. Ideal for candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy, who demonstrate human relations skills and proficiency in treatment techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver ionizing radiation treatments to patients
• Plan and simulate treatments under supervision
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Collaborate with the radiation oncology team for optimal patient care
• Utilize technology to execute treatment protocols effectively
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Radiation Therapy
• Certification in Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C
• Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Human relations skills for supporting patients
