Support Worker for Mental Health

Become a vital part of EHN Canada's mission by supporting individuals with mental health and addiction needs in Saskatoon. This casual role focuses on client engagement, crisis intervention, and facilitating wellness conversations.

As a Mental Health and Addiction Support Worker, you'll work at the EHN Complex Needs Facility providing essential support when counseling staff are unavailable.

Your role will involve assessing client needs, ensuring safety, and maintaining program integrity. You'll use trauma-informed approaches and engage in brief wellness discussions to assess clients' support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assess new intakes focusing on safety

• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention

• Document client interactions in real-time

• Engage in daily debriefs with the team

• Support clients in accessing community resources

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mental Health or related field

• Experience in addiction and mental health support

• Strong crisis intervention skills

• Clear Criminal Records Check required

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License needed
