This role offers an opportunity to engage deeply with adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You'll deliver brief and multi-session therapy, facilitate group sessions, and collaborate closely with health providers. Your expertise will also contribute to program planning and clinical supervision of practicum students in this vital position within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and family mental health therapy to adolescents
• Facilitate group therapy sessions for youths and parents
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and health providers
• Assist in program planning and quality improvement initiatives
• Supervise practicum students in mental health practice
Requirements:
• One year of supervised experience in mental health therapy
• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
• Registered Social Worker (RSW) certification
• Membership in the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
• Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills
