Experienced Lab Patient Technician Wanted

Join Life Labs as a Lab Patient Technician and help improve healthcare diagnostics in Canada. This role focuses on patient interaction and meticulous specimen collection processes.

As a part of a dedicated team, you will engage with patients, conduct phlebotomies, and ensure accurate specimen preparation. This float position requires a flexible schedule and demands a blend of empathy and technical ability. You'll support patients’ healthcare journeys through critical lab work, maintaining high standards in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with patients and outline specimen collection steps

• Execute phlebotomies and ECG tracings

• Manage special test collections along with documentation

• Develop and maintain positive client relationships

• Accurately complete data entry of patient information

Requirements:

• Preferred graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program

• Phlebotomy experience beneficial

• Proficient computer skills with at least 40 wpm

• Strong service orientation and problem-solving skills

• Maintain high patient confidentiality
