This role offers the chance to lead pharmacy initiatives and support new team members in their development.
In this permanent position, the Senior Pharmacist will coordinate key projects, support residency programs, and strengthen pharmacy practices within the SHA. You are expected to ensure high standards of patient care and medication management. Your leadership will be crucial in training new pharmacists and delivering optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the orientation of new pharmacy staff
• Lead pharmacy practice projects across the province
• Coordinate SHA pharmacy residency initiatives
• Work with healthcare professionals regarding medication issues
• Participate on relevant pharmacy committees
Requirements:
• Two years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BSP)
• CPRB certification beneficial
• Current Class 5 driver's license
• Licensed by Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)
