Part-Time Care Assistant

Support individuals in need as a part-time Continuing Care Assistant in Saskatoon with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. This role focuses on providing essential personal care and assistance.

We are currently looking for a Continuing Care Assistant to enhance clients’ quality of life at the Idylwyld Centre. In this role, you will provide vital assistance with daily living activities while addressing physical and emotional needs. The position involves 21 shifts of 8 hours within a 6-week cycle, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal and emotional support to clients

• Assist with crucial daily activities and personal care

• Facilitate communication with clients and families

• Work independently in various home care settings

• Maintain organized and up-to-date care records

Requirements:

• Active Continuing Care Assistant certification

• Valid driver’s license (when necessary)

• Relevant Food Safe certification

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Basic competence in computer use for documentation
