Temporary Medical Radiology Technologist Role

Become a part of the Mississippi River Health Alliance team as a Medical Radiology Technologist in a temporary capacity for 12 months. Focus on patient safety and quality diagnostics using advanced radiological technology.

This position requires thorough knowledge in diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. Candidates should be prepared to operate independently and uphold professionalism while effectively communicating with patients and healthcare staff in a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging

• Work unsupervised during after-hours shifts

• Carry out IV starts and contrast injections

• Follow all CMRITO protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Medical Radiation Technology required

• Completion of CT courses 1, 2, and 3

• Preferred specialty in CT imaging

• IV training course or equivalent education

• Registration with the CMRITO is a must
