Join Sask Abilities as a Support Worker, aiding individuals with disabilities in North Battleford. This full-time opportunity focuses on fostering independence and self-support.
In this permanent role, you will teach various daily living skills and assist clients in managing their interactions with community services. A critical part of your responsibilities will be documenting client progress and supporting meaningful engagement in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach essential daily living skills tailored to individual needs
• Support client interactions with community professionals
• Identify and encourage meaningful activities for clients
• Document progress and feedback regularly
• Drive clients using a personal vehicle when necessary
Requirements:
• Disability or Rehabilitation Support Worker Certificate preferred
• Minimum one year of related experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification within three months
• Strong interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills
