Saskatoon Community Clinic EMR Director

Join Saskatoon Community Clinic as the Director of Health Information Services. This permanent, full-time role focuses on overseeing health information systems and enhancing patient data management processes.

As the Director, you will be responsible for organizing and directing the department's resources to ensure compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities include supervising staff and managing the Electronic Medical Record (Med Access), along with provincial health systems. You will drive improvement initiatives in service delivery and ensure data privacy laws and best practices are followed diligently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage health information services and EMR systems

• Develop budgets and manage departmental resources

• Train staff in health record management practices

• Lead audits and address EMR challenges

• Ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Diploma in Health Information Management required

• Certification with CCHIM and CHIMA registration needed

• At least two years' relevant experience required

• Background as a TELUS Med Access Superuser is an asset

• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities
