Saskatoon Pharmacy Assistant

Earl's Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to enhance patient care in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Support operations, manage prescriptions, and ensure quality service.

This exciting 5 to 6-month term role with possible extension focuses on collaboration with pharmacists and technicians at Neighbourly Pharmacy. Engage in tasks like prescription entry, customer service, and inventory management, while also conducting Long-Term Care Home visits. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations whilst providing top-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and label prescriptions under supervision

• Assist with inventory management and stock organization

• Greet customers and handle inquiries professionally

• Perform Long-Term Care Home visits as needed

• Execute clerical duties including insurance claims processing

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 to 3 years in a pharmacy assistant role

• Proficient in Kroll and strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and team orientation

• Driver's license for outreach visits required

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
