Location: Biggar
Join Biggar & District Health Centre as a Casual Emergency Medical Technician and make a difference in emergency response. This role is integral to delivering timely medical care in urgent situations.
You will be part of the Ambulance - Land department, responding to various emergencies and supporting patient assessment and transportation. Applicants must have a Primary Care Paramedic Certificate and valid certifications in CPR, BLS, and ITLS. Operate effectively under the Saskatchewan Ambulance Act while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide immediate assessment and treatment for patients
• Transport injured or ill individuals securely
• Ensure compliance with operating protocols
• Work effectively both independently and in a team
• Adapt to changing and high-stress situations
Requirements:
• Primary Care Paramedic Certificate essential
• Must hold a valid Class 4 driver's license
• Current certifications in CPR, BLS, and ITLS required
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm in emergencies
