This full-time role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Radiation Therapy and certification in Basic Life Support. The Radiation Therapist I, under the guidance of a Radiation Therapist II, will prepare and deliver ionizing radiation treatments as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. Skills in treatment planning, simulation, and patient communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver precise radiation treatments for patients
• Operate radiation therapy equipment with accuracy
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists for treatment plans
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS-C)
• Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
• Membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
• No prior experience required
