Respiratory Therapist

Position: Full-Time Respiratory Therapist
Elevate respiratory care for patients at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. This full-time role covers diverse shifts and focuses on patient therapy and equipment maintenance.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will support patient care by implementing physician orders and educating patients on respiratory techniques.

Your role will include ensuring the care and maintenance of respiratory equipment and collaborating with medical staff. This position requires flexibility with shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders for respiratory patient care

• Educate patients on therapy techniques and purposes

• Consult with physicians and associated staff

• Care for and maintain respiratory equipment

• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Respiratory Therapy Diploma (RT)

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

• Registered/eligible with Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists

• Basic computer and communication skills

• Experience with neonatal and pediatric care is an asset
