Support children with complex needs as a One-on-One Support Worker at Hope's Home in Saskatoon. Engage deeply with each child, facilitating growth through tailored care and compassion.
This temporary full-time position focuses on providing essential one-on-one assistance to children who require specialized attention. You will work with a team to implement individualized programs while ensuring safe and healthy environments. Daily responsibilities involve personal care, adapting activities for children, and enhancing their social interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing individualized care plans under supervision
• Document child-specific behaviors for team review
• Oversee personal care like feeding and hygiene
• Foster interactions during recreation and community activities
• Support team communication regarding developmental progress
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 with 3 years’ experience in care settings
• Must complete First Aid and CPR Training
• Actively pursuing certifications in related care programs
• Valid driver’s license and adaptability to challenging situations
• Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills
