Emergency Medicine Division Lead

As the Area Division Lead for Emergency Medicine, you will report to the Area Department Lead while collaborating with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. This dynamic role involves operational leadership in one of Saskatoon's Emergency Departments, working closely with nursing management. You will also engage with senior leadership to address strategic needs and clinical priorities in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical oversight in the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with nursing managers for operational excellence
• Articulate gaps and develop strategies with stakeholders
• Lead quality improvement and educational initiatives
• Monitor and address challenges in health service delivery
Requirements:
• Licensed medical practitioner in Saskatchewan
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• Experience with health quality improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of emergency and primary care integration
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
