Join our HR team in Saskatoon as a Human Resources Administrator and help shape the employee experience from hire to retire. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, you will support a wide range of HR programs, including onboarding, benefits, employee records, compliance, and employee initiatives. What you'll do
- Administer HR programs and systems, maintaining accurate employee records, HR data, reporting, compliance documentation, and workforce analytics.
- Support key HR operations and compliance activities, ensuring policies, procedures, collective agreements, legislative requirements, and organizational standards are consistently administered and maintained.
- Coordinate immigration and employment administration processes, including SINP applications, employment verifications, personnel actions, and employee lifecycle documentation.
- Manage employee benefits and disability programs, including benefits administration, provider liaison, WCB, STD/LTD claims management, and return-to-work coordination.
- Administer employee access, security, travel, and aviation-related programs, including RAICs, AVOPs, travel systems, identification credentials, uniforms, and related compliance requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding and employee transition activities, ensuring a seamless experience through orientation, documentation, system access setup, employee changes, and offboarding processes.
- Drive employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and referral programs through service awards, employee events, appreciation initiatives, fitness subsidies, and culture-building activities.
What you'll bring
- A certificate or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to four years of progressive experience in Human Resources administration, supporting a wide range of HR programs and services.
- Experience working with HRIS/HRMS platforms, maintaining employee records and administering employee data.
- Strong knowledge of office administration practices, with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide outstanding service to employees and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, resourceful, and adaptable approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and effectively prioritize competing demands.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in the aviation industry and/or a unionized environment is considered an asset.
What you'll get
The expected compensation range for this role is $47,000 to $60,000 per year. Placement within the range will be based on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and internal equity considerations.
